Previous to joining Free All Media Jordan Glatt was the President and CEO of Magla Products for 18 years, a $90 million, nationally recognized household consumer products Company, selling to all classes of trade. During his tenure Jordan restructured Magla from a largely domestic manufacturing company, selling under its own brand, to a Far East based manufacturing enterprise, marketing under some of the country’s most iconic brands. Jordan’s strengths include his innate marketing sense, unique problem solving abilities, and his understanding that sometimes the simplest solution is the best. Under Jordan’s leadership, Magla’s successfully established innovative licensing agreements with major consumer product companies selling products under brands including Stanley, Black and Decker,Mr. Clean,(P&G) American Red Cross and Williamson Dickies. This innovative branding model expanded Magla’s customer base allowing the business to double in five years. Jordan joined Magla in 1989 on the operations side, working in its primary manufacturing facility in North Carolina, followed by supervising the construction and start up of a new manufacturing facility in the Dominican Republic. Following that Jordan was Magla’s V.P of Sales and Marketing.
Jordan began his career in consumer goods at JC Penney, where he worked at their World Headquarters in Corporate Procurement. Volunteerism is an important part of Jordan’s life. In January 2012 he completed his second term as Mayor of Summit, NJ, having been elected in this second term with over 60% of the popular vote. A nod to his strength in coalition building and marketing, Jordan was the first of his party to win an election in the 100+ year history of the city. Jordan previously served as a Councilman at Large, launched the Mayor’s Partnership for Technology in Summit public schools in 1995 and founded First Night Summit in 1993. Jordan holds a Bachelor of Arts from Drew University, where he was a trustee for many years.
